Yaxian Ding, LAc

Yaxian Ding was born and raised in China. She graduated from Shanxi Medical University in 1987 with a Bachelor’s of Medicine (the Chinese equivalent to an MD) and began to practice medicine in China. She later attended Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, one of the top traditional Chinese medical schools in the country, where she earned an additional degree in Chinese Medicine in 1994. Yaxian completed her clinical internship at Beijing's Dongzhimen Hospital, an affiliate of the Beijing University of Chinese Medicine. Since then, Yaxian has added acupuncture, cupping, moxibustion, and herbs into her practice.

Yaxian is a Diplomate of Acupuncture, National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM), and holds her acupuncture license from the Ohio State Medical Board. Yaxian has practiced acupuncture in the Cleveland area since 2004.
